Real was founded in 1991 by skate legends Tommy Guerrero and Jim Thiebaud, ex-Powell Skateboards riders at the time of formation. The brand has stayed true to its raw street skateboarding roots and its emphasis on skateboarding as a force for positive change. Their current team consists of some of the biggest names in the game: Ishod Wair, Kyle Walker, Chima Ferguson, Zion Wright, Robbie Brockel and more. Guaranteed to last R1 Construction decks are made using an exclusive technique producing stronger, longer-lasting, better performing skateboard decks. True universal press molds use equal pressure across the entire surface of each deck ensuring a centred, consistently even, lasting concave. Two X-Bands make each deck stiff and strong, but also allows just enough flex for maximum pop and response.
